Sergeant Samuel "Pete" Panuccio
Manhattan South Nightwatch - Sgt. Panuccio has had a very successful and rewarding career in the NYPD. He left college to become a police officer in July 1981 and very shortly after graduation from the police academy, Sgt. Panuccio started making many arrests, some while off duty. His arrest activity would bring him the coveted "gold shield" detective promotion. Sgt. Panuccio worked in various departments from narcotics to the homicide squad before his promotion to sergeant. He is considered an invaluable asset to the Detective Bureau. The 37-year veteran is also highly decorated, including the Medal of Valor for his heroic actions taken on September 11, 2001.
